Enchanted Rock was the most gorgeous backdrop for Taylor and Dillion’s engagement session.
Sweat dripping down my face as the Texas sun was beating down on me. To say that I died hiking up to the top would be an understatement. There is nothing like hiking up a huge granite rock to show you how out of shape you are. I have to say these two cuties were so excited and they bounded up the rock easily. Taylor and Dillion are from Ohio, but love hiking and being outdoors which made this the best location for their Texas engagement session. Also how cute is Taylors white flowy dress. This is so cute for engagement sessions!
These two are getting married in Ohio in 2020, but wanted to incorporate Texas into their session, since they are currently living here. I was LIVING for the gorgeous sun and the landscapes. Texas has such versatile locations, there really is a location for ANY look you are going for. I am going to be writing a blog post soon about all my Texas bucket list locations, so if you want to shoot at any of those, I’m your girl! I am experimenting with posing in a fun way. I’ve love the idea of movement in photography and capturing authentic smiles, laughter and reactions instead of having people just stand and stare into my lens. Do you like this style or the more traditional posing, obvious I am incorporating both, but I would love to hear what you peeps think.
Taylor and Dillion, you guys are my favs!!! I had such a blast not only photographing you guys, but getting to hang with ya’ll. Oh and the yummy margs was definitely a plus lol! I am cheering you guys on as you begin to enter a season of being newly weds. EEEEEKKKKKK! That is such a special time and you guys are going to love being married, but for now enjoy your engagement, because it flies by!
